End of Year SMARTR Outcome

On the 2020 Reading SOL test, 80% of students with disabilities will pass, reducing the failure rate by 23%.

Strategy 1

  • All teachers will participate in on-going professional development to strengthen Tier 1 instruction in reading.

Strategy 2

  • All teachers will provide inclusive learning experiences focused on student engagement and differentiation.

Strategy 3

  • Teachers will engage in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes that ensure fidelity of implementation resulting in student success for all students.

 

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By June 2020, 85% of families will feel that they received enough information from the school about instructional best practices and what they can do at home to help children improve their learning. 

Strategy 1

    • We will hold Literacy, Math, Technology and STEAM family nights for the community.

    Strategy 2

    • We will use technology as a way to keep parents informed of various ways they can support their student at home.

    Strategy 3

    • All teachers will engage in professional development around Cultural Proficiency.

    End of Year SMARTR Outcome

    By June 2020, 100% of students will show growth or reach 100% in their Ethical and Global Citizen skills as measured by the POG student self-assessment rubric. 

    Strategy 1

    • School-wide focus on character education and interactive modeling to enhance the Portrait of a Graduate skills of Ethical and Global Citizen.

    Strategy 2

    • Teachers will plan and execute digital citizenship lesson quarterly.

    Strategy 3

    • All teachers will engage in professional development around Portrait of a Graduate.
